This year's event will take place on Saturday 8 March 2025 from 10:30 - 13:00

Eager to learn how your local community can transform communities all around the world?

Be a changemaker for love, equality, dignity and justice by coming to our Changemakers Conference.

You can join in with our 2025 conference in one of three ways:

Our main London Event

You're invited to St Johns Waterloo on Saturday 8 March 2025. The event will feature key speakers, who'll share news, ideas and resources in readiness for Christian Aid Week 2025.

The event will take place from 10.30am to 1pm, with additional workshops from 2 to 4pm.

One of our In-Person regional Watch Parties

We're hosting a series of watch parties around the country, live-streaming the conference. There'll be an event near you which you can attend, where you can discuss themes and share ideas with fellow supporters and your local Christian Aid representative.

The event will take place from 10.30am to 1pm, followed by a free lunch from 1pm.

Livestream from home

We're also streaming the London event live online, for anyone who wants to join in from the comfort of their own home or office.

The main event will be live streamed between 10.30am and 1pm.

Busy at that time? Not to worry, the full recording will be available shortly after the event, meaning you can watch it back whenever you please.

Event details:

We have an amazing programme (10.30am-1pm) to inspire you, including:

  • Stories of hope from a Programme Officer and Partner from Guatemala.
  • Fundraising resources for Christian Aid Week 2025.
  • Updates from our humanitarian team on our ongoing response to global disasters, including our work in Gaza.
  • Our latest campaign action for 2025.
  • Reflections on 80 years of Christian Aid and what we’ve achieved together.

For both our main London event at St. John’s Waterloo and all Regional Watch Party venues, there will be a free lunch following the event at 1pm.

Why not take this time to share fundraising ideas with other Christian Aid supporters and discuss all the exciting updates you've heard throughout the day?

Lastly, there will be an afternoon of seminars and workshops between 2pm and 4pm following the main London event. These workshops have been organised in partnership with Faith for the Climate and as well as a focus on climate action, will include a more in-depth Q&A with our visitors from Guatemala.

We will be filming these sessions and making them available after the Conference for those unable to attend in London, but we unfortunately cannot live-stream them.

A recap on our 2024 event

Thank you for joining us at our 2024 annual supporter conference, Changemakers.

Over 600 people joined us, not just in London at London St James's Piccadilly, but also at over 20 regional watch-parties from Southampton to Birmingham (and online too!).

We had the opportunity to meet our Burundi Country Manager, Philip Galgallo, to hear personal insight into our Burundi programmes. The event also featured other key speakers, who shared news, ideas, and resources in readiness for Christian Aid Week 2024.

Changemakers is a reminder of how your local community can transform communities all around the world.

Would you like to offer your help?

We are looking for friendly and proactive volunteers to help us at the Conference. If you'd be interested in representing Christian Aid at this event, please email us on volunteering@christian-aid.org.
