Many teachers are looking for ways to bring emotional and psychological learning into climate education, to support their students’ resilience and capacity to face a very difficult subject. We have collaborated with Ian Long from blobtree.com and Jo McAndrews from the Climate Psychology Alliance to produce this resource which offers a compelling and accessible way to have conversations about climate emotions.

This resource is for use with all ages. It can be used in groups of adults in formal training or informal conversations. It can be used with all ages of
children and young people, and allows flexibility to adapt your facilitation method to meet the needs of the person or group you are working with.
We anticipate it being used by teachers, environmental educators, school counsellors and youth therapists.

Up to two thirds of children and young people are experiencing eco-anxiety. Themes of climate change and climate justice are increasingly prevalent in class rooms, tv, and public discourse. We have a responsibility to not only ensure that children and young people understand these issues and are equipped to take action, but also to enable children and young people to explore and understand their feelings around climate change also.

Climate Feelings

Climate Feelings is an all-age resource to help promote emotional understanding and resilience in the face of climate change.
