Every two years we hold a Service of Thanksgiving to give thanks for the lives and support of people in whose memory gifts have been given in the previous few years, and those who have left a legacy for our work.

Our next service will take place on Wednesday 4 November, 2020.

At this service we will join together with relatives and friends to remember people who not only touched the lives of those closest to them, but whose passion for justice had a much wider impact, bringing renewed hope and opportunity to poor communities across the world.

Our last Service of Thanksgiving was held on 19 November 2018. Dr Rowan Williams, the Chair of Christian Aid, gave the address, and the service was streamed live online so friends across the UK and beyond could join in our remembrance.

The service was a lovely way to remember my wonderful, irreplaceable Mum, whom I still miss so much, and it was so good to hear about all the excellent work that Christian Aid is doing around the world.
