The annual Book Sale for Christian Aid at St Andrew's and St George's West Church is thought to be one of the biggest charity book sales in the world! It's back again in 2023 and will open at 10:00am on Saturday 13 May and continues 15-19 May (with late night opening on Thursday until 19:00pm). This year's patron is Dr James Robertson.
For sale this year: books, antiques and collectables, pictures, stamps and postcards, sheet music and toys. Since it started in 1973 the sale has raised over £2m for Christian Aid’s work to end poverty.
