Why, in a world of plenty, are so many people living in desperate poverty around the globe? What does poverty mean for people - and what causes it?
This hour-long interactive session is packed with useful information to help students understand what poverty means - and what might be done to eradicate it. By the end of this session, students will have engaged with the different approaches to defining global poverty and will have engaged with some of the solutions that could bring about a world free from poverty.
