About the event
Young learners from schools around Wales would like to warmly invite you to their special exhibition, Creative For Climate Justice, on Tuesday 12 November 2024 between 12-1.30pm at the Pierhead, Main Hall. Sponsored by Peredur Owen Griffiths MS.
Creative for Climate Justice is an exciting arts and social justice project for young people and schools, by Christian Aid, Oxfam, CAFOD and Send My Friend to School.
The exhibition at the Pierhead during COP29 and Wales Climate Week will showcase art pieces crafted by learners in Wales who are involved in the project. You will be met and guided around the exhibition by some of the young learners themselves and you will hear about how they are using their amazing creativity to send a loud and clear message for climate justice. You will also hear from Christian Aid about the impact of the climate crisis on communities globally.
There will be an opportunity for you to show your support for greater action towards climate justice and to share your perspective with the schools taking part too.
